Irish has a commitment to providing an Irish Arts
and Education programme of the highest quality which
is available to all Irish people of all generations
and to everyone of all backgrounds and cultures who
want to enjoy, share, experience and participate in
quality Irish arts, sport, education and culture.
- Ensuring
that Irish traditional culture (traditional Irish
music, dance, G.A.A. underage football and hurling
(boys & girls age 7 - 18), storytelling, language,
theatre etc.) is kept alive and is available to be
passed on to all future generations.
- Encourage
new people and new audience to experience Irish arts
and culture for the first time by providing free and
low cost activities and events for local Irish and
non Irish residents, children, young people, pensioners
and those on low incomes.

Irish sets out to encourage participation and to ensure
that opportunities for participation in Irish arts
and culture is made available to all children and
young people, who may in turn become our professional
Irish artists (writer, footballers, hurlers, musicians,
dancers, actors, storytellers) of the future.
This
will enable Irish people of all generations to realise
that Irish Culture is something, which is "theirs"
and can be justifiably proud of it.
